Now let us look at some of the key factors that will govern the India vs New Zealand Second Test Match.

After winning the opening match quite comprehensively, the Indian team looks full of confidence. The performance of India as a team in the first match was clinical in all three departments whether it was batting, bowling or fielding.
In batting, almost every batsman scored some runs. The spin duo (Ashwin and Jadeja), as expected, took 16 out of 20 wickets.
The bad news for India is that KL Rahul is injured.
This match is very special for Gambhir fans as he is making a return to the international cricket through this match.

New Zealand

Kiwis played well. They fought hard but the condition was just adverse of their game of play. They are great players of swing and fast bowling but aren’t good players of spin which we saw in the first test as spinners took 16 out of all the 20 wickets.
The inexperience of Black Caps was shown in the first test as they weren’t able to judge whether to leave or to play the ball.
But they will be passing to the next test with some positives. Latham, Williamson, and Ronchi batted well. Santner also showed a very good all round cricket with both bat and ball.

Indians are again clear favorites of this match. They are not going to lose the match for sure. New Zealand would be presumably looking to save the match as the two teams have had no match in these conditions.
