Many a time, youngsters need to share some private information with friends or colleague.  It is possible to mail personal messages to share information like passwords, credit card details or bank account information via text messages on phones, emails on mobile etc.  However, there is a risk that a malicious user who manages to illegitimately access recipient`s computer could potentially access your private information and misuse it.  A solution to this is a very useful website known as Burn Note (https://burnnote.com)

This website allows users to send messages in such a manner that it will automatically delete immediately or after a per-defined number of seconds after it has been read. Few websites similar to Burn Note are :

All of us have experienced email regret , the state of mind that immediately follows “A very personal email or a sensitive work email sent to a wrong colleague”  In such situations would not be great if it were possible to un-send an Email. This is where Gmail`s “UNDO SEND” feature helps. Once you enable it, every time you send an email, Gmail will not send it instantly. Instead, it will hold back the email on its server for few seconds , allowing you to change your mind, retrieve & modify the email if you wish.

To enable Undo Send:

1. Click the gear in the top right  .
2. Select Settings.
3. Scroll down to “Undo Send” and click Enable.
4. Set the cancellation period (the amount of time you have to decide if you want to Un-send an email).
5. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

If you had Undo Send turned on in Gmail Labs, your Undo Send setting will be on by default.

Note: To give you time to undo, Gmail delays sending the message for a few seconds. So if you don’t select “Undo” within the time limit, your message will be sent. “Undo send” may not work if you experience connection issues.
